Atkins has unveiled its design for the Anara Tower in Dubai, which, at more than 600m, will rank among the world’s tallest structures
The 100-storey, mixed-use project will include luxury apartments and penthouses, one of which is set to become the most valuable in the Middle East. The scheme, by developer Tameer Holding, will conform to LEED certification requirements of at least silver rating, maximising water and energy efficiency and potentially including renewable sources of energy. Construction will begin in late 2009.
